Feature · Screenshot

A screenshot app for Windows that remembers the context.

Capture a region, a full window, or trigger by hotkey — then annotate, redact, and crop without ever touching the original PNG.

Three ways to capture. One that fits.

Region, full window, or trigger by hotkey while you work. UIHike captures cleanly whatever's on screen — including the URL and the element you clicked.

  • Drag-select region with a crosshair overlay
  • Full visible window — browser or any app
  • Hotkey-triggered capture without breaking flow
  • PDF, Excel, Markdown documents — captured in place

Annotations live as layers. The PNG stays untouched.

Boxes, arrows, redactions, crops — all non-destructive. Change your mind, undo a blur, reframe a crop. The original screenshot is preserved on disk every time.

When you export, UIHike renders a separate redacted PNG. Share that. Keep the original.

Why this isn't Snipping Tool

A screenshot tool that keeps the page with the picture.

Snip, ShareX, Greenshot — they all give you a PNG. UIHike gives you the PNG plus the URL, the page title, the element you clicked, and the order it happened in.
